'Play Me, I'm Yours' across New York City and London

Hailed as the public arts project of the year in New York, 60 street pianos were distributed across all 5 boroughs of the city for the public to play. Infectious Beauty - Solo show New York City

From 2nd June, The Heller Gallery in NYC are presenting Jerram's Glass Microbiology artworks in a solo show titled Infectious Beauty. Limited editions of the artworks will be available for purchase. Artist in Residence at Pervasive Media Studio

Luke Jerram is currently an artist in residence at the Pervasive Media Studio which is a multi-disciplinary lab exploring and producing pervasive media content, applications and services. The studio brings together creators and users from diverse backgrounds to research and produce valuable experiences for a new form.

Aeolus in Progress

Aeolus is a specially designed acoustic pavillion that will resonate and sing with the wind. To test out the technology a series of aeolian wind harp tests have been carried out, filmed and posted online. Find out more about the project and watch the films here..

The Rakow Award

The Corning Museum of glass have awarded Jerram The Rakow Commission for his microbiology artworks. Selected from a wide variety of international artists the Rakow Commission encourages artists working in glass to venture into new areas that they might otherwise be unable to explore.

21 Piano Nocture- Timelapse Film Completed!

On the 21st of June, 21 pianists played in a giant circle of 21 upright pianos performing the première of a new piece designed by Luke Jerram, composed by Richard Causton, inspired by Chopin' Nocturnes. The performance took place at dusk outside the Guildhall, London. Watch New Film.

Launch of My RSC Gallery

The Royal Shakespeare Company have commissioned Jerram to make 'My RSC Gallery' for their new theatre building. The public are now invited to create miniature artworks for 50 small glass boxes that will be permanently embedded into the walls of the architecture.
